latex is exported either as sheet rubber or crepe rubber. The local demand for raw rubber
has increased with the development of industries such as manufacture and retreading of
motor tyres, cycle tyres and tubes, rubber goods such as cushions, mats, toys and surgical
gloves…etc. The principle markets for Sri Lanka rubber are China, U.S.S.R., USA, German, Italy, and Poland. |
